Apocolypse RP Here

smiles flipped around to see another girl standing against their car. Marine and smiles were now outnumbered by the people they were trying to rob. not good. the marine looked around at each of the people in turn. obvious at a loss of what to do. it was far to late to jump back into the car and drive away, not with that girl leaning against it. she would shoot him before he even got to the door. smiles looked to him helplessly, she had no idea what was supposed to happen now. she started backing away from the girl with the gun. she accidently bumped into the medic's chest.

He'd been taking half hearted puffs off his cigarrette and staring off at the sky when she'd bumped him. He coffed a bit and looked down at her.
She was cute. Even though her eyes were sad they held some sort of confidence in them, and that just added to the cuteness. No... not cuteness. John had to admit - was beauty. With that thought he didn't really think and sort of blurted, "Back for a little more?"
Then, realizing what he had done, he took a quick drag and in doing so pulled the cherry straight down to his knuckles and burned himself.
"Damn!" He dropped it and stuck his hand in his mouth.

Keen looked at the growing number of people and was starting to grow uncomfortable, he was also getting that uncomfortable ach in his stomach, and he knew what that meant, he looked at the panicking boy with sword,"You should calm down,especially since if I were all of you I would get out of here, in about five minutes were going to over taken with a horde of very hungry guest." He turned and started running down the road, leaving the other people to do with as they wished, he had seen a building that would do as a good shelter and that's where he was headed to now.

Leo followed the shadowy figuring he knew where he was going.”hah....hah.... hah... w-wait...” he had enough trouble keeping vertical let alone running. “please.....” he fell to his knees getting so dizzy it was vomit engucing. After that he passed out on the cold ground

marine put his gun down. "we just got into town ourselves, we dont know the zombie count. we saw these nuts and thought they might have something of value." smiles was still looking at the medic with wide eyes. it was the first time in a while anyone had hit on her. she regained her composure and pointed her gun at him, giving him a stern look. "hey medic, what did you do to upset smiles, be a gentleman to her, or i'll be forced to kick your ass for the fun of it, and my rank is none of your business." smiles actually managed to crack a small grin at the marines concern for her but she figured he just wanted someone to beat up.

"I didn't do anything distastefull, calm down." The air of complete nonchelance was about him again, but changed quickly as his tone grew concerned and his voice slightly deeper.
"That odd one seemed to know a bit more about whats going on here - we should follow him."
He nodded his head to the car. "How much gas ya got?"

"its got about half a tank" the marine said gruffly. "and i suppose there isnt any way of ditching you guys now is there?" smiles looked at the medic and then decided to put her gun away as well. might as well play nice with the other kids. she nodded her head towards the car and started walking towards it. when marine had picked her up, she helped him take all the back seats out of the crappy mini van. lighter car means better on gas. "it is hard to come by" he said as he hopped in the drivers seat and started up the jalopy. "but we scrounge what we can find, mostly syphoning it from other cars."

"Better than nothing." He shrugged and hopped in the back. "First running car I've seen since I left base." He leaned against the window and put his hands behind his head.
He was remembering flying in over the city and wishing he'd payed more attention. If he had he wouldn't have decided to walk home.

John opened one eye and nodded to the girl... smiles? Was that what he'd called her?
"Plenty of room in the back." He joked. "I don't bite either." Then he actually chuckled a little.
It sounded od to him - he hadn't heard himself laugh in months.

smiles reluctantly hopped into the back of the van, putting her gun back into the holster. she gave medic a dirty look and arranged herself among the blankets that her and marine kept in the back to sleep on. she pulled out one of the old books she had read a thousand time just to take her miind off of the situation. she had to stay at least a little alert in case marine wanted her to do something. when he wasnt looking smiles was admiring how cute the medic was, but he was older than her as far as she could tell. not like it mattered.

Keen stopped when he heard the something fall, he turned and saw the nervous boy on the ground passed out, he contemplated leaving him there, but he didn't want the approaching horde to realize that there was in fact food here and to start searching thoroughly for them, so he turned and ran over, picking up the boy and throwing him over his shoulder. as he turned and picked up his speed, easily maneuvering through the broken down cars, and debris, going over to the building. He checked the door to the four story building and quickly slipped in, glad the door was reinforced and realized why, it was an old bank, this would be good place to hide, he laid the other boy down in the vault and poked his head out of the door, if the others didn't arrive soon he was locking them out.

John closed his eyes and let his mind wander. Unfortunitly for him his mind only had one place to go: war zones.
Flashes of dead men and explosions, screams of hate and for help - whenever he closed his eyes he was living it all over again. But he watched it likea movie. Telling himself that it was over and that this was just part of it being over. So he would adjust things.
A soldier that had died from blood loss would survive, or a man shot in the head in front of his eyes would only suffer from a graze... this was the way he spent the next few minutes until finally he dosed off.

Marine drove in the same the direction the two had gone. After weaving through all the abandoned cars the were forced to stop at an abandoned building.
It looked safe enough so he stopped the car. He chucked an old tape ov the back of his seat to wake up the medic who'd fallen asleep. "Everyone out."

Keen stepped back and let them in, searching through the drawers quickly and finding the key to the vault, he figured they'd hide in there till after night, since that's when most of the hunters came out to search for food for their nest. He growled as the other's moved slow,"Hurry or I'll lock you out." He growl as he kept checking to see how far the horde was from them,"We don't have much time, these ones move quickly."

He sighed at her,"There's supplies in the vault, we don't have time for searching, they'll be here soon, but you owe me for the water and food, we can talk about trade later." He huffed, glaring at the other three to move their asses, making it quite clear he had no qualms about locking their assess outside. He turned and looked at the other girl,"Can you give that other one water so he's not a waste of space?"

John walked over to the unconscious boy and knelt over him.
He checked his pulse, turned his face and looked at both sides of it, and lay his hand on his chest to feel his breathing. After checking the rest of him he stood and turned to the red eyed man. "He needs more than water - he's malnourished." He looked back at the boy. "I'd guess it's been a few weeks or at least days since his last meal..." He sounded sad.

skin was pale and he was cold. his bones were slightly exposed with some minor wounds.

marine looked around the bank, there were scattered papers from long ago forgotten accounts, there was even some money laying about, not that it was of any value now. he went into the vault and set his gun down. smiles was timid about trusting the mysterious figure they had encountered earlier. something about him made her cringe. she walked past him quickly and went to hide over by marine. she touched him arm gently to get his attention then gestured to the man. "i dont know if we can trust him but we dont have much of a choice, do we? that hoard is gonna be here any minute so get comfy"

Keen got everyone gathered in the vault and heard them just a block away, he locked the front door, made sure everyone was ready and closed and locked the vault door moving to the furthermost corner and making a nest for himself, throwing packets of military food out for people to eat, he figured the dying one could take advantage from the nutrients and the feeling of having a full belly for once in his life. He pulled a blanket up around him and ignored the rest of the group, the lights in the vault were extremely dim.

"Thanks..." John had carried the boy into the vault and set him down carefully, not he set about fixing up what he could. The little med kit the girl had was meager and he only used a few of its contents on what he considered to be the worst of the boys wounds.
Once he finished he gave the boy a bit of a slap to his face in order to wake him up.
"Hey..." I few more slaps "... we've got food and if you want some it's time to get up."
John hoped that his words reached him.

he jumped about to hit the medic with the sword in panic "GET AWAY!" he swung violently. 'ZOMBIES! ZOMBIES!' he thought to himself. when he realizes he stopped. "the bank?" he looked around the vault. wh-what are we doing here? when did we get here?" he smiled at the memories in the vault gave. "s-sorry" he looked back at the medic. "i didnt hurt anyone did i? thanks for saving me." he blushed, slightly embarressed for needing to be saved
